The XaviVerso team is pleased to announce that this month marks the 12th Anniversary of the launch of the transmedia literary saga of Mark of Odin. It was on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 when the first version of the online portal for Mark of Odin was launched and the first book, The Awakening, was published. Since then, the saga has grown with the Road to Valhalla and Ragnarok books, six bonus chapters and more than one hundred extended stories, attracting more than 164,000 readers around the world.
In this last year, the Mark of Odin saga has evolved with new reissues of its books that have introduced comprehensive style improvements to improve all dialogues as well as introduce the corporate image of the XaviVerso. Additionally, new versions of the audiobooks have been released including multiple voices for the first time to offer a better narrative experience for readers.
“It is incredible how quickly time has passed in these last twelve years and everything I have managed to accomplish thanks to the support of the #MarkedbyOdin,” said Xavier Marcé. “Achieving this milestone gives me a lot of strength to continue working on the saga to share new stories that readers are waiting for, such as the next bonus chapter The Dark Hybrid.”
In fact, Xavier Marcé is currently finishing the final draft of this first bonus chapter of Mark of Odin: Ragnarok, which will soon enter the review and production phase of the layout for the ebook and the audiobook version. In this sense, we have a big surprise, since for the first time we are going to produce the audiobook of a bonus chapter narrated by Xavier Marcé. In addition, our art director Manu Nieto is working on a very special cover that will surely not leave you indifferent.
For the next few months we will continue working on the translation and production of the English editions of Road to Valhalla and Ragnarok, as well as a new edition of The Awakening in this language. It is our aspiration to be able to offer Mark of Odin books to readers around the world in all possible languages and markets.
We want to thank all the readers who have accompanied us throughout these twelve years, whether from day one or newcomers. Every reader who enjoys our stories and way of understanding literature and the relationship between author and readers is an essential impulse to continue dreaming. With your support there will be no impossible goal.
Remember, everything is connected.
